Harry Potter

I got locked and half drowned in a bloody loo with Theodore Nott. Could have died, with a snotty Slytherin who didn't even seem upset about it. My head aches, my chest feels like it's caving in half the time, and I want to punch Ron's enormous bloody nose in. So I don't give a toss about the squid, or the tree, or anything else.

Look, I'm sorry about the squid. I really am. It's bollocks and if it hadn't been a Greengrass yelling about it, then nothing would have happened. It's just like Malfoy making a huge bloody deal out of a tiny cut when he was a third year.

But there's other things to worry about. I'm tired of hearing about it.

I ran into Malfoy in the Room of Requirement. Okay, yeah, I followed him. I know what you think, Hermione, but there's something off. The cabinet's gone, and I'm sure he was looking at it. And he mentioned the Mark on his arm - I don't know if it's there, but think it must be. And he's just off. He half insulted Voldemort. I don't know why. But it's weird, yeah?

It's Malfoy, and he's an idiot, so who knows what he was actually trying to say and I don't give a toss.

But it was off.

Fang wandered into the castle the other day, when I was talking to Luna. We're pretty sure he was looking for Hagrid. Poor pup. I feel like an ass for not thinking about him sooner.

Professor McGonagall is brilliant and all, but I have to admit that having Tonks Professor Tonks about is a nice change.

The Prophet is still rubbish. I suppose most people expect that, though. People with sense, anyway.

It's too bad there's not some sort of news that actually says what's true, instead of what a few deluded reporters and their editors think. Something that couldn't be meddled with. Maybe these things will be good for that?

Hogwarts is just going to be loads different this year.
